Suggestions and Advice  - Web Based Training

So you got you CFD-ACE+ software installed and temporary license file has been copied in the right place. You got everything ready.....
You had never used CFD-ACE+ before and you are not sure what to do now. I assume that you have had attended our speedy
training at the West Coast branch, but that was a few weeks ago and by now you do not remember much of it. Welcome to the Club !

This page is an interactive training guide which is designed to "walk" you step-by-step to success, providing that you are not extremely picky,
are reasonably innovative and can make things to work on the basis of little or no information at all. So I assume and that you are willing to try and
and explore new things. If you belong to HPEM community than you are definitely qualified !!!
If you have zero tolerance for bugs and expect that everything is perfect, well.... I would like to remind you that even mighty Microsoft
had them, Netscape had them... You can wait untill things will be perfect, but by that time you may be left behind by those who didn't mind to
"get their hands durty". If you are end result oriented and you are creative and pragmatic go-getter (like myself) you will find
this course (and CFD-PLASMA) very useful. So lets go and get them and I promise that the end result will be rewarding !!!!

Step1. Check out Applications and Demos sections of this web page. First print out pdf flyers, look at them and give them to you co-workers.
They were all created by CFD-PLASMA using the very SAME release that you have now, no tricks and no gimmics. This will help to recognize that
end results may be useful for you and will help you evaluation effort more notariety in your organization. ....more

Step 2. Upload ALL files from the ftp plasma cfdrc site to your computer. Especially subdirectories that contain tutorials and demos. During this step you
are about to learn how to do postprocessing of CFD-PLASMA results using CFD-VIEW. Why now? Why are we starting from the end?
Well, it is the easiest step to learn and we can benefit from building some confidence about the software. Futuremore CFDRC applications team
had created (and continues to create) many cool demonstration/application problems which you can post-process and then demonstrate results to
your colleagues. So open CFD-VIEW Manual and try to read it first. Yea.., it is pretty dry stuff and probably you will not be able to read it for longer tthan an hour. In my opinion it is sufficient.  Uuups, I almost forgot. Go to your     cfdrc/html/view subdirectory and open file ViewHTML5.htm . It contains
web based short version (17 pages) version of the large manual. Print it out, read it, make a bookmark to it      ...more
